Sup People...yes...ANOTHER video. (Told ya, it was Video Season)

So this one was a bloody hard one to execute.  As you can see, I wanted to do emulate the late, great Michael Jacksons "Black or White" video (The end part at least, cant really do the whole locking and crotch grabbing right now).

So I done a bit of research in how I was going to do the morphing (I edit alot of the videos myself - including this one) and once I figured it out, contacted everyone I could to come down to be in the video.  The problem was that it was the week before Christmas and so EVERYONE was busy as hell with work and last minute christmas shopping after work. 

This meant that I couldnt do a one day shoot - instead, I had to literally have an open shoot all week and have people come in as and whenever they could.

Some people couldnt make it which was fair enough but shoutout to those who could - amoungst others from the music world, G.R.E.E.Ds , Remel London, Nadine Charles, E plus , Kadija Kamara, Meleka, Shakka, Mr Hooli who all had to, learn around 4 bars of the song, on the spot, and deliver to the camera.

After the shoot, I went to Ghana for a week, and edited the video whenever I had free time - the issue with this video is that the morphing takes AGES - each one about 40 minutes and there are 30 morphs in the video.  This is before I have even decided what to use....

I think the end result was worth it though - hope u enjoyed it....

Stress & Heartbreak OFFICIAL WEB VIDEO

So, Wretch 32 is one of the few UK rappers in the mainstream that I honestly respect fully.   His break through song was "Traktor".  I, like everyone else, loved the song, but what grabbed me was the bridge.  The production almost completely changed, and to be honest, it felt like a whole different song to me - a good song.

So I decided to take the instrumental of the bridge of the song, and recreate it with my Co-D, Shakka.  Here is the web video and you can download the song from here  - enjoy...

Where Have I been?

So as you may ( or may not know ) Ive stopped performing shows for now....Ive just found that it all eventually revolves around a 3 mile radius of shoreditch and you start off performing to perfect your performance, get confidence, and obviously expand your fan base.  

I like to perform with a full live band which, after rehearsals and possibly paying band members, can get expensive ESPECIALLY if (like the majority of shows) its not paid.  Eventually, also, you begin to recognise the crowd because its made up mainly of other aspiring musicians (that you probably know) or regular live gig goers - (that probably know you by now) - so yea... In July, I luv live and Ronnie scotts were my last two shows and then I decided to focus on getting some visuals out...so I've been doing a lot more "Car Shows" and Music videos....
